Vaidehi is pregnant but unhappy of her marriage, she decide to run away from Raghuvir, her husband. However, things will no be so easy for the mother to be. In her pursuit for freedom, she meets Mythili, a bride-to-be, Janaki, a theatre artist and Ramdulari, a village midwife, all unhappy wives and fight for their rights.
