When master criminal and murderer Max Brant escapes from death row, he flees from France to England and hides out in the mansion of his former cohort, Louie Bernard, a reformed forger. It's not long before Brant blackmails the reluctant Bernard into resuming his criminal career with Brant. Situations become even more complicated after Bernard's lovely daughter arrives home, arousing Brant's lecherous tendencies.
